PartyPoker.it signs F-1 driver Fisichella

PartyPoker.it, the Italian site of PartyPoker has recently signed a sponsorship for the Italian F-1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, more known to his F-1 fans as "Fisi". Fisichella showed great poker skills earlier this year in the Sports Challenge IV sponsored by PartyPoker, he used his position and knew when to be aggressive etc. Fisichella lost to the PartyPoker VIP player Scott O'Reilly but he obviously made a very good impression on PartyPoker as he is now sponsored by them.

PartyPoker.it is running several freerolls during the rest of this month to celebrate that Fisichella is now their new spokesman for the italian PartyPoker site. These freerolls run every day and will give away €500.

Italy opened up for online poker in 2008 when they passed new laws and since then online poker has grown rapidly in this mediterranean country. At one point, Italy even outlawed online poker but now it´s open though any site that wants to operate in Italy have to open a site only open for Italian poker players, such as PartyPoker.it.
